What to Know Before Your Stay at Sea Glass Found
How to Get to Sea Glass Found
Sea Glass Found is located on a small island called Man-O-War Cay.
There is no airport on this island so you will need to fly into Marsh Harbor International Airport (MHH) which is on the closest neighbouring island.
From multiple Florida Airports, the flight time is about 1 hour. After you clear customs, the Sea Glass Found team will have someone ready to pick you up for a short ride to the boat docks. On the way, you can stop for lunch or that first island beverage at a local restaurant or stock up on groceries before meeting Captain Colin at the boat docks. It is a short 20 minute boat ride to Sea Glass Found from the marina to Sea Glass Found.

This cute cottage sleeps 2 people and is perfect for a couple looking for seclusion and privacy. The Harbor House has a full bathroom and kitchenette. The bedroom has the coziest king bed and Smart TV, and a private dock over the Bahamian Sea. This is where we stayed during our time at Sea Glass Found and it was absolutely perfect. Things To Do at Sea Glass Found
Explore Man-O-War Cay
The island that Sea Glass Found is on is absolutely worth exploring. We highly recommend touring on one of the included golf carts and stopping at Man-O-War Heritage Coffee Shop to check out the museum and grab a delicious coffee and pastry. Also head to Albury Sail Shop to get one of their famous tote bags! Man-O-War Cay was once known as the boat building capitol of the Bahamas and is a very interesting place to explore. We found the locals super friendly and helpful!
Activities at Sea Glass Found
We know we have already talked about some of the inclusions with your stay, but there are SO many other things that this property has to offer.
There are 3 private sand beaches on the property, with sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas to use as you wish. Another fun activity on the property is the zip line to use during high tide which Jake took advantage of! There is also a heated infinity pool at the Cabana which we did spend a lot of time at. We highly recommend having a beach bonfire at least one night during your stay. It really is such a great way to spend an evening in the Bahamas as the sun sets.

Off Property Activities
In our opinion, one thing that really sets Sea Glass Found apart from other rentals is that there are 2 Boston Whalers included, with boat captains, during your stay. Whether you have people in your group looking to do some deep water fishing for Tuna or Marlin, or you have others that want to go visit some nearby islands, there are options for everyone. Collin will be your boat captain and he brought us to some amazing places to see wildlife!
We got up close and personal with gentle Sting Rays and Reef Sharks, and even got to be face to face with a sea turtle. We went for lunch on a nearby island that Collin suggested and we ended up meeting Pitbull! Definitely a day for the memory books!

Dining Options During Your Stay
Sea Glass Found has SO many options to customize your stay including whether your group wants to prepare meals yourselves, hire a Private Chef for some or all meals or have the onsite host whisk your group away to an incredible restaurant on a nearby island. We chose a mixture of all options for our stay.
Get Groceries and Cook Your Own Meals
Prior to our boat transfer to Sea Glass Found, our property host took us to the grocery store on Marsh Harbor to collect some essentials. We also stopped at the liquor store! Although the larger grocery store is on Marsh Harbor, there is a small grocery store on the island as well if you forget anything. We opted to make our own breakfasts and some lunches.
Try Some Local Restaurants
The on property host recommended a few on island places to eat as well as a few places on neighbouring islands that he brought us to by boat.
We highly recommend a visit to Man-O-War Heritage Coffee Shop which is a local Coffee Shop with excellent food and also a small museum about the family that used to live there. Another spot to head to is Dock-N-Dine on the island for pizza. Not only does it have great views of the marina but it also gives you an opportunity to tour more of the island!
We also recommend an evening out at Firefly Sunset Resort for dinner. Collin (the onsite host) suggested this spot as a great place to have dinner and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful setting and the food was incredible.
Hire A Local Chef
We arranged to have the Private Chef cook one dinner for us on the property which we highly recommend. Sea Glass Found partners with Chef Vandea. Her and her crew handle everything from the grocery shopping, food prep, services, and cleaning. She has a pretty extensive menu to choose from so there is something for everyone! A few of our favourite dishes were definitely the Artichoke and Lobster Dip, and the Coconut Shrimp with a pina colada dipping sauce!

Our Final Thoughts on Sea Glass Found
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sea Glass Found. We came into this stay without any expectations and it really surprised us! With all of the inclusions we really felt like this was the perfect getaway for a big group looking to relax, unwind and have fun. Being so secluded we felt like we had an entire island to ourselves.
We believe this is such a hidden gem in the Bahamas!
