Raw Love Tulum
Raw Love Tulum is an Instagram worthy restaurant located in Ahau Tulum Hotel. This spot serves up some incredible smoothie bowls and raw food dishes. This is the perfect spot for a healthy breakfast during your visit in Tulum! We loved this spot so much we visited twice! Make sure to try the Avocado Toast!
Tips for visiting: This restaurant accepts only cash so make sure to bring Mexican Pesos or USD!
The Real Coconut
Located at Sanara Tulum Hotel, this beachfront restaurant offers a covered or uncovered patio. They also prioritize sustainable sourcing of their food, so everything is fresh and local! We highly recommend stopping here for lunch.
Taboo Tulum
This incredible restaurant is the perfect place to eat dinner in Tulum. Not only is their menu incredible, but they serve up some incredible drinks and dessert too! We ordered the Calamari, Lamb Shanks with Grilled Potatoes and the Capellini with Clams! We honestly couldnt decide which dish we liked the most.
Tip for visiting: Make sure to order the Dessert Platter. There are 4 sample sizes of their best selling desserts and they were all so amazing
Bal Nak
This restaurant hands down was our favorite dinner experience in Tulum. The manager came out before our meal to tell us all about this incredible restaurant. Every ingredient was sustainably sourced from different regions in Mexico and were prepared in the traditional Mexican way. The menu is full of beautiful dishes that represent the heart and culture of Mexico! We cannot recommend trying this place enough.
Tip for visiting: Try the Pork Belly Confit, Smoked Short Rib and Grilled Loin Steak! You will not be disapointed.
Posada Margherita
Be transported to the Italian Coast at this chic restaurant located on Tulum Beach! There are technically two different restaurants here, a dine in option right on the beach and a wood-fire pizza oven for takeaway! We opted to order pizza for takeaway and enjoy it back at our hotel, and we were not disappointed, we highly recommend visiting here.
Antojitos La Chiapaneca
This is the only restaurant on this list that is located in Tulum Town! We found this restaurant from a Google search and had to try it out ourselves. This restaurant is such a hidden gem! Food at the hotel beach area can be quite expensive and this is the perfect budget option (roughly $0.10 USD per taco) without sacrificing flavor. Highly recommend the Al Pastor Tacos! We talk about them to this day.
Tip for visiting: They only accept cash (Mexican Pesos or USD). Also, very few of the staff here speak English. But do not let that deter you from visiting here! If you cannot speak Spanish, their menu has photos and English descriptions so you can point to what you want and the server can take your order!
La Popular (Nomade)
Nomade Tulum Hotel is located right on the beach and is likely one of the most popular places to visit in Tulum. They have two restaurants in this complex, one being Macondo (which is the one that you have seen all over Instagram) and La Popular! We highly recommend make La Popular your choice for an incredible dinner. The tables are located right on the beach, the food is fantastic, and they have live music in the evenings! Our night here was spectacular and our meals were amazing!
Tip for visiting: La Popular and Macondo only take credit card!
