In this blog post we are going to share 10 waterfalls you need to see when you visit Bali, Indonesia!
1. Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Tukad Cepung Waterfall is a unique waterfall located inside of a cave in the village of Tembuku Bali. This incredible waterfall is a staggering 15 meters tall and is surrounded by towering cliffs. It is a 15 minute walk from the parking lot and through a small stream, so definitely make sure to wear shoes that can get wet! The entrance fee for Tukad Cepung Waterfall is IDR 15,000 (approximately $1 USD).
Also important to note, is that the famous light beams that shine through the cave occur between 9-11am which means this is typically the busiest time to visit. However, it is spectacular to see! This waterfall can get very busy, so make sure to arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

2. Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Kanto Lampo Waterfall is located just a short drive from Ubud and Tukad Cepung Waterfall. It is famous for its unique rock formation! This waterfall is absolutely incredible to see, but can get quite busy so make sure to visit around the time it opens to enjoy it with minimal crowds. This waterfall is very powerful so also expect to get wet. There is a small place to change, lockers to rent and a place to put your shoes before you get to the waterfall. The entrance fee for Kanto Lampo Waterfall is IDR 20,000 (approximately $1.40 USD).

3. Goa Rang Reng Waterfall
Goa Rang Reng is a lesser known waterfall in the Ubud area and is actually comprised of multiple waterfalls. When you arrive at the parking lot, there is a long walkway with stairs leading down to the two main cascading waterfalls. However, if you are a looking for a real adventure, consult one of the guides and ask them to take you to the waterfall swing!
The waterfall swing is situated in a cave and surrounded by 3 waterfalls. This trek does require walking through a stream and a short swim, so we would recommend wearing footwear you can get wet, and bringing a dry bag with you (we have linked ours here) to ensure none of your belongings get wet!

4. Tibumana Waterfall
Located in close proximity to Ubud, Tibumana waterfall is stunning waterfall surrounded by a large rock formation. This waterfall is a short walk from the parking lot and is not as busy as the waterfalls close to it, making it very peaceful and serene. Tibumana Waterfall is a great option for those looking for a more secluded and off-the-beaten-path experience! When we went they were in the process of building changing areas at the base of the waterfall and a small snack stand. The entrance fee is 20,000 IDR (approximately $1.4 USD).

5. Leke Leke Waterfall
Located north of Ubud, Leke Leke Waterfall is one of our favorite waterfalls in Bali. This waterfall is hidden in the midst of the jungle and is surrounded by so much lush greenery. This waterfall is not as popular as some other waterfalls in Bali, making it another great place to go if you are looking to escape big crowds. The entrance fee is 50,000 IDR (approximately $3.40 USD) and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the base of the waterfall from the parking lot.

6. Banyumala Twin Waterfalls
Banyumala Twin Waterfall is an incredible waterfall that is found in Northern Bali in the Munduk region. This waterfall are tall and powerful, with a swimming pool underneath so make sure to bring your swimsuit with you. There is another waterfall just a short walk from the main area, so make sure to visit that one as well. The entrance fee is 30,000 IDR or $2 USD and the parking fee is 2000 IDR if you arrive on a scooter.
This waterfall has become more popular in recent years so it is best to arrive here in the morning to avoid the crowd!

7. Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall
This waterfall came recommended to us by a staff member at our hotel in Munduk, and let us tell you, it did NOT disappoint. There are 4 waterfalls in the complex, and each one is so unique and beautiful. We spent a good amount of time here, and there we want into no more than 5 people. This is a true Bali hidden gem and a place you need to visit during your trip to Bali! The entrance fee to Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall is 30,000 IDR or $2 USD.

8. Sekumpul Waterfall
This is one of the largest waterfalls in Bali towering at 262 feet. It takes some work to get here, it is about a 30 minute hike to the first waterfall but it is incredible to see and is one of the best things to do in Bali.
NOTE: There has been an uptick in scams in the area, with locals setting up roadside stands demanding payment to even drive on the road to the entrance. They have also started putting false entrances on Google Maps to scam tourists. We HIGHLY recommend visiting Sekumpal only with an experienced guide who knows the area and the entrance point. 9. NungNung Waterfall
Located in the village of Plaga, Nungnung Waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in Bali with a height of about 50 meters. The waterfall is surrounded by beautiful scenery and visitors can take a refreshing swim in the pool at the base of the waterfall. The entrance fee for NungNung Waterfall is IDR 20,000 (approximately $1.50 USD).

10. Gembleng Waterfall
Gembleng Waterfall is located in the Sideman region of Bali and is one of the best hidden gems on the Island. This waterfall has a small pool at the top that is great to soak in. This is a sacred and holy waterfall in Bali that is sometimes used for religious ceremonies. There is also no formal entrance fee at the time of writing this blog post, but donations are encouraged and around 20,000 IDR per person is standard.
